K12 science

This 1.5 hour workshop will introduce you to strategies for engaging and educating a K-12 audience, and give you hands-on experience preparing an activity to do with students. K-12 students are high-energy, interactive, and a forgiving audience to hone your communication skills. During the workshop you will practice simplifying science concepts to align with student experiences and get a chance to design a hands-on activity using low-cost, reusable materials.
